Upon searching packages to install, it would be nice to sort them by popularity, similalry to what https://elm.dmy.fr/ is doing.

For example, try to search for "elm-ui" and you will see that at the top of the list there is a package that is not the "official" elm-ui package.

Another example is searching for “json”:

I’d at least expect elm/json to be at the top. This search for “json” is really nice: https://elm.dmy.fr/?q=json

the way that package.elm-lang.org does that is by having hard-coded rules based on author to bump the result. I think it's a bit controversial topic though since it's a bit authoritarian approach.
