Problem

We've been using the hiragana "あ" on localization icons as an equivalent to the roman "a", but it seems like other platforms use the kanji "文"

Proposal

replace あ with 文

Prior Art (Optional)

If you search for translate icon you'll pretty much always see this character:

I gave a shot to replace あ with 文 and then found a small problem that it might not apparent that the character is 文 because it's cut off by the overlaid A 🤔

Ah yeah it looks like other icons solve this by either having 文 in front or at the top. It looks like most other icons also have the tiles laid out so that they are from top left to bottom right. So we could make these larger changes as well

Swap the Kanji with the A, or have the Kanji tile overlap the A ? That may be enough ?
roman characters can handle being cut, especially A, and stay recognizable, but it seems problematic to overlap kanjis
