Is there a way to rename an existing channel?

For whatever reason, I thought I could rename a channel after its creation but I cannot find out how to do it. Maybe I just misremembered.

Not at present.

As a workaround, you can always add a new channel with the desired name, then use the Contents plugin to move all the old channel's files there, then delete the old channel. That might be the easiest/safest way to implement a rename as a feature as well.
