Swiss SNOMED-Community

What is it?

This platform offers interested parties the opportunity to exchange information and support each other on questions about the use of SNOMED CT.

How is the Swiss SNOMED-Community site structured?

This platform includes various discussions forums organized thematically, as well as the netiquette of the Swiss SNOMED-Community. The official announcements category is used to publish news related to SNOMED CT. If there is a need to discuss a specific SNOMED CT topic, a meeting can be organised within the community. Active participation is encouraged. The "General" category is intended for discussion of general topics related to SNOMED CT. Technical and general questions about SNOMED CT can be asked and answered in the Q&A section. Once a question has been answered, it can be marked as «answered», preferably by the person who asked the question. «Ideas» is where you can post ideas for implementation as well as general ideas about SNOMED CT and its application. In "Show and Tell" you can post general projects, implementations or other topics related to SNOMED CT. The archive contains answered questions, discussion posts, and archived information, stored in the same categories as the discussions. It is recommended that you check the archive before posting a question or starting a discussion to see if the topic or question has already been addressed or answered.

Community Management Procedure

All communication on this platform is governed by the GitHub Rules and Code of Conduct. These rules must be followed. It is important to keep communication factual and focused. This platform is public and can be viewed by anyone. Therefore confidential information should not be posted online. If the rules of GitHub or the netiquette of the Swiss SNOMED community are not followed, the community managers reserve the right to delete content and, in the case of repeated violations, to exclude individuals from the Swiss SNOMED community. Answered questions and closed discussion threads are regularly moved to the archive by the Community Managers.
