Most people working in tech don't talk/think about it, but any app that stores data needs a place to store that data.
Reducing the latency (response time) for Database [CRUD] requests should be the main objective of any DevOps person.

Note: just opening this issue to capture outline of a topic I want to write about. Definitely not "finished".
