is there a clearer icon to use for feedback in the alpha? e.g:

which-icon-should-we-use

related to: #38 (closed as @iteles implemented)

@nelsonic nelsonic changed the title Could we us fa-bug or fa-question-circle instead of fa-github for the Feedback icon? Is there a more intuitive Feedback icon? (currently fa-github) Apr 12, 2015

We want people to report issues both when they have a question/find a bug but also when they have suggestions. If feels to be like the bug, question mark and life ring might be too limiting.

I like the comment bubble - do you think people would intuitively use it to report bugs as well as make general comments? Or interpret it as a LiveChat style feature?

Post alpha, I think we should test the life ring first, as people will likely only get in touch when they need some form of support.

Looks like @nelsonic already swapped the github icon out for the question mark in commit d999df3. All options seem to be relatively equal right now so this seems like as good a place as any to start testing!

@iteles I only changed the icon to ? in my branch to see what it would look like. I prefer the comments too.

Changed this to the comment bubble to see what the preference is.
I tried the double comments first but I don't think they're self-explanatory enough at first glance:
dwyl-alpha -feedback-triangle-with-comments

So went with the single comment for the commit but easily altered.

I prefer the "_conversation" as opposed to the "_monologue" icon. #picky 😉

Ok. we have a "good enough" icon for Alpha. moving this to Post-MVP.

[oh man, you just beat me to it, was part way through writing this response and then forgot about it!]
I maintain that the 'conversation' isn't as recognisable to people as the single bubble.

Having said that, Android Lollipop users should be kind of used to it by now 😉
dwyl-alpha -smart-phone-message-icons

So, let's go with the double speech bubbles for now and test it, then over the next week, ask random people on the street what they think the icon means in the context of an app 👍
