Describe the bug

2020 Kia Telluride running latest release3 on comma 3. Jetson mode enabled. always on lateral works great on stock long. I can turn it on and off by using the cruise button on steering wheel. Once I toggle op long and change always on lateral for op long, the always on lateral stays always on. It will not let me turn it on or off using my cruise button anymore.

Which car does this affect?

2020 Kia Telluride

Provide a route where the issue occurs

—- not uploaded no logger

openpilot version

dragonpilot v0.9.2 release3 (v2023.03.27)

Additional info

Jetson mode enabled, always on enabled. Utilizing comma 3. Tried forcing fingerprint by selecting 2020 Hyundai Palisade to see if issue still occurs when using op long w/ always on lat. cruise button still doesn’t enable/disable lateral.

Enable the logger and give us a route back please. Why are you using Jetson mode on the c3?.

I thought you had to have jetson mode enabled to have always on lateral work? Is it safe to turn on logger with always on lateral enabled? I know in the past panda was set to unsafe mode, so wouldn't that result in a device ban if it uploads? If not ill turn off jetson and try getting a route up. Thanks

How do I go about getting a route to upload on connect? My device says online but hasn’t uploaded anything. I haven’t changed any settings in process_config so logger should be on

There is a known bug that stop generating logs, should be fixed in the next release.
