Adaptive update rate based on speed

I’ve had good success with some ESP32 based devices by using GPS speed data to control the next update so updates happen at a fixed distance moved rather than fixed time. This is great for mapping coverage as when you get in a vehicle you get the same density of points as on foot. Could this be added?
