Issues to be resolved:

• Ensure ModelPolisher works with the recent BiGG Models release (https://github.com/SBRG/bigg_models/releases/tag/1.6.0) and has no hard dependency on AnnotateDB (https://github.com/matthiaskoenig/annotatedb)
  has been resolved in this ticket
• Add test code for annotation
• Check if both JSON and COBRA parsers work correctly, as there seem to be some issues with BiGGId parsing
• Refactor to allow to directly annotate components of a model, which in turn would facilitate testing

• Refactor ModelPolisher and BiGGAnnotation class for better readability
  I would argue this is not specific enough to be actionable.
• Track regressions in run time, identify hotspots and fix if possible
• Close open issues

This should either be formulated to be actionable or be moved to tickets.
