Mysz Teodor 3D: Serminator doesn't launch even dgvoodoo 2

I have a certain game from Play publishing that supposedly starts, but after selecting the "Nowa Gra" option, it crashes to the desktop with an error that it was not possible to load the 3D object. Interestingly, even the dgvoodoo2 wrapper does not help. The game itself runs on a Win XP virtual machine. Is it possible to fix this? I have the game from this CD - https://archive.org/download/tytus-romek-i-a-tomek/Max%20Kids%204%202007.iso

This seems to be a non-DX issue. Doesn't XP compat mode help?
