Alt-Tab: Microsoft Freelancer

Hey guys,

We have been heavy at work HDing an old game, Microsoft Freelancer (DX8)

Ran into an interesting bug.
Only is present on 1 station that a player can dock at, was discovered when we were dock checking every dockable station/planet.
When we alt-tab while docked, alt-tabbing back causes a black screen crash to desktop.

We have checked several versions, including the latest released and all are affected.
We have also confirmed that without DGVoodoo the crash does not occur.
The crash appears to be with nvwgf2um.dll according to event viewer.

I think all I can do is check out if dgVoodoo drives the API in a bad way when crashing, to see if the crash is legit.
Could you attach a savegame plz (if it's possible at all)? Or it's not so simple to reproduce the thing?
