Zero-UI Controller IP address unreachable

I installed Zero-UI and some nodes come up but others still say Relaying but still give me access to the nodes. I installed zero-ui on docker installed on Ubuntu Server 22.04, however I added the Controller zerotier ID to the network and it identifies it as Controller, but I cannot access the IP address of the controller in order to allow access to the zero-ui GUI via the zerotier network. I ran an 'ip a' but don't see the interface/IP show up. I verified in the controller.d/network/xxxxx/members section that the controller's json file exists and is authorized and has the correct IP address. However in the peers.d/ section it does not show up. Is this common or do I need to adjust my zero-ui yaml file or something else such as bridging? I am currently following the standard setup minus the HTTPS portion.
