Took me several hours to try everything and then to find this request and understand, that components cannot be populated!
Please, add this feature.
Also, meanwhile please mention somewhere in the docs that components cannot be populated, it is confusing as of now!

Also interested in hearing if we there are any plans to work on this? Particularly adding support for Sketch components 🙂

Same need here for XD.
The thing is if we are having to trade interactivity (ie. clickable components) for dynamic content, and our actual need is to have both.

I'm reviewing the code and the XD API, will see if I can make a contribution to the project...

As far as I understand it, this is due to a limitation in the XD Api. See #198

Would also love to have that feature. I will need use CSV files until this plugin supports components

we're planning to add this feature to the XD version as soon as it's technically feasible for us to do it in an efficient way.
