👋 Hello friends!

I'm curious to understand this project relative to the kafka-connect source in the main Iceberg repo?

It seems that it has been grafted (apache/iceberg#8701) into the official iceberg project. If so, and development in this repo has stopped, can/should this repo be archived? A link/redirect in the README?

Just trying to understand what to expect in mainline and this repo and boundaries between the two.
