I think that your fullscreen extension is great and it's a really big improvement over the normal Spotify fullscreen. However, my one gripe is that the album art simply can't get as big as I want it to be. I wanted to try and code an extension myself or maybe edit your extension so I could make this happen, but I have no idea how to code it or where I would even begin. Since your extension seems to be the closest thing to what I want and has a bunch of customization options, I figured I would try leaving a suggestion with mockups for what a bigger fullscreen could look like and maybe they could be considered as possible options in the future, and hopefully if you liked the idea you would have an easier time making it a reality than I would have.
➕ Additional Information
I made these mockups based on my 2256x1504 (3:2) laptop screen.
Mockup 1 is the album art covering as much of the screen as possible on the left with all of the controls, song title, artist, album title, release date, playlist, and up next.
Mockup 2 is simply the entire album cover blown up as big as possible with nothing else. If every other idea would be too hard to do, I think that just this as an option would be awesome.
Mockup 3 is the art really big in the center of the screen with the controls and information centered and small at the bottom. I forgot to add the up next and the playlist to this one, but I can imagine them being in the top corners.
Mockup 4 is the art even bigger but with only the song title and artist on the same line and the controls all pushed in line with the progress bar, which is all extended to be as long as the album cover.
Some of my scaling is all over the place and these options could have some problems with readability but these are my basic ideas for what the layouts could look like. Also, if there is an easy way to automatically pull high-res covers, that would be great too, since at least in my eyes Spotify likes to use low-res stuff for some reason.
