Hi

The current version of MISP I'm running is an Ubuntu 20.04 on Azure - which does not support the recent MISP 2.5 release.

Is misp2sentinel compatible with MISP 2.5, how will it be impacted once I've upgraded my ubuntu machine to 24.04, and upgraded to MISP 2.5?

Any idea, and or advise?

Thank you in advance.

There should be no reason why misp2sentinel is not compatible with MISP 2.5. The API access etc. remains the same. After the Ubuntu upgrade though you will most likely have to

  • Re-initialise the Python virtual environment
  • Re-install the required Python packages

Basically it's a new install (https://github.com/cudeso/misp2sentinel?tab=readme-ov-file#python-environment) , but you can re-use your config file.

Which version of Python3 are you using? Normally MISP2.5 has no influence on this so I assume something is broken with either a new or older version of Python.

Do python -V to get the version installed in the venv.
