Improved word quoting regex

I reworked the single arrow quotes to be a bit more versatile.
Here's an example of how the rewrite handles single quoting:

I don't see myself ever accepting this unless it's optional. I've thought about it a few times, but there's too much opportunity for traditionalists to complain.
