Install in windows #238
Comments
That should not be the case - the fact that C/C++ can work fine on both Windows and Linux gives the hint that it is somehow plausible. You are correct on the absence of comprehensive documentation for Windows. I guess the primary reason is that CS50 wants to motivate working with a command-line unlike working with GUI as the idea Windows mostly appears to average users. Most are unaware that CLIS is almost as powerful. If you are experienced with linking and building libraries, your contributions to the README.md would be appreciated! I guess, for now, consider using CS50 Sandbox or a Linux Virtual Environment ( WSL, VMs ). |
No Luck on WSL ubuntu especially for noobs like myself. |

i have shared the instructions for exactly this at #193 (comment) i am using and have got cs50 library working perfectly fine for me |
You can watch this: |
I am trying to install the library on Windows 10, but it appears that there are no instructions for windows. Is the library Linux/Mac only?
