Interferes with desktop switching on Windowmaker after entering empty desktop

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Start keymon
2. Set window as omnipresent
3. Change to a desktop without any windows open (e.g. alt-2)
4. Try to change back to first desktop with alt-1

The window switching will stop working until another window gets focus (even 
just right-clicking on the desktop to bring up the Windowmaker menu works)

Please provide any additional information below.
Keymon version 1.17.
Window Maker 0.95.5
Linux 3.13.0-40-generic #69-Ubuntu SMP Thu Nov 13 17:56:26 UTC 2014 i686 i686 
i686 GNU/Linux
