Widget fails to redraw

I set the widget to 35 apps and give 5x7 space on my launcher Nova.
Often if I unlock the device it only shows 9 apps and has 9x1 space. So totally messed up. It doesnt redraw if I click on it only if I lock and unlock it works sometimes.
I set the device to not hibernate the hangar app.
Note 4 N910F 6.0.1 Touchwiz, rooted, xposed.
