Widgets freeze, when Hangar widget is on screen

My smartphone is a Samsung Galaxy S III mini (GT-I8190) with Android 4.1.2.
I've got installed the app wetter.com (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.wetter.androidclient) and put the wetter.com 4x2 widget on the screen.

Then I installed Hangar and put its App widget on the screen to after some minutes both widgets froze and I had to uninstall Hangar.

I believe this is related to low memory and Hangar being killed by the system. This will be looked into very shortly.

This should be fixed in the December release for L (Hangar properly restarts when being killed by Android). Any updates @DonChunior ?

There's an improvement ...
The widgets don't freeze any more, but the Hangar widget doesn't work as expected. It never updates the app list. It always shows the initial state, from the point where it has been placed.
