API Plans?

Is there a roadmap or a plan for the ComfuUI API? It would be pretty amazing to be able to make a request to a running instance of ComfyUI with most of the boxes checked by a workflow .json.

I have seen this: https://github.com/comfyanonymous/ComfyUI/blob/master/script_examples/basic_api_example.py, and I'm already playing with it. I was hoping to see where the API was on the development roadmap, since it seems like the most useful tool to implement the genius of ComfyUI into a more portable tool.

If there are no such plans, I guess this is a feature request. I know it's alpha software, and I respect your development pace. Thanks for the amazing software. 👋
