Check in with daily coordinators:

  1. All clear on how "your" day will go?
  2. Do you have enough people working on materials/ presenters? Any bottlenecks, help needed?
  3. Anything we need to tell participants about "your day" beforehand? Any pre-tasks, installations, etc?
  • All good in daily intro/outro ("Daily intro and outro" #96)
  • All good in participant communication? Missing something essential (Communication with participants #100) that needs to be communicated?
  • Introduction rounds? How to make it also community building event without reserving an hour every day for intros? In collab notes? In breakoutrooms?
  • Breakoutrooms (how to split, how many people, always same or always different?) could also do it differently every day to make it a learning experience on "how to split people into teams" ; always same people gets more comfortable with every session, time for intro; always new people, always intro needed or no community building, but working with different people can be beneficial in many ways...?

Notes from coordinator meeting:

  • Daily intro: all good; move notes to notes.coderefinery.org
  • Participant communication: ok, make clear that also without preparation everyone can join, lots to discuss
  • breakoutrooms: during intro: split into random breakoutrooms of 5 people, introduction rounds there, keep same rooms as much as possible, let new people join more empty rooms
  • lesson prep going slow but forward, we need more instructors!
