Roadmap

Future plan

The first major stable release (1.0) is planned roughly for summer (at the moment the plan would be about June, but a more detailed plan will be released one or two months before that); minor releases (0.9.x) will come out in irregular intervals until then.

The plan is to first fix the issues mentioned under [Known Issues](Known Issues) (and any eventual bugs being reported via the issue tracker) with minor releases over the next few months, and then have a Release Candidate in May.

The plan for the next minor releases (can be subject to change):

• Version 0.9.10 planned for May 2013 (Enhanced backend with tables showing logged events and blocked IPs, maybe the notification of registered users of blocked attempts with their username as proposed in https://github.com/codeling/bfstop/issues/1))
• Version 0.9.11 planned for roughly June 2013 (Enhanced notification configuration system, i.e. checks whether notifications can be sent successfully via a test email). Probably the last minor version (before 1.0).

• 2012-04-05 - Version 0.9.9 (unblock interval, notify users of remaining attempts)
• 2012-01-23 - Version 0.9.8 (Joomla! 3.0 compatiblity)
• 2013-01-15 - Version 0.9.7 (fixing plugin name, install language, uninstall problems, a possible information disclosure).
