These issues are known and are being worked on at the moment:
- Unknown IPv6 support status. Plugin was only tested under IPv4 so far.
- The plugin doesn't show the blocked IP addresses in the backend
- The plugin does only provide limited ways of unblocking an IP addresses once they're on the list of blocked addresses. If configured, the block will be lifted after a certain period; otherwise, the only way to unblock them is to go via the database, or to rename the plugin file and then uninstall and reinstall the plugin (see the Frequently asked questions "What to do in case you locked yourself out" for more details).
- The plugin does not check if notifications (i.e. Mail settings) are properly configured in Joomla
- If notifications are not configured properly, the login form will show a message like "The following from address failed: xxx@yourhost" along with the "Username and password do not match or you do not have an account yet." message.
