Puma is the default web server since capi-release v1.196.0 released on 7th Nov 24.

This issue is to discuss the timeline for removing the Thin webserver from ccng.

Steps:

  1. remove the configuration flags related to Thin
  2. build a CAPI release
  3. remove Thin from documentation (e.g. Scaling Cloud Controller
  4. remove Thin from ccng codebase

My proposal for steps 1 and 2 is Jan 25. Step 4 could happen 4..8 weeks after step 2 (allows an easy revert in case of severe problems).
