I don't know if this question is more suitable for here or stackoverflow or neither.

I've used visual studio before and written winforms programs in C# , and VB back in the day, and console applications, so I have some experience in it but not tons of experience. not done any project that had tons of third party non MS libraries or lots of projects within a solution though.

I downloaded the Zip file

C:\Users\User\Downloads\droidexplorer-master\droidexplorer-master

I see the SLN file DroidExplorer.sln

I have VS 2019

I got some errors about it being for a different version of Visual Studio but I just clicked OK.. I got some errors when I clicked Play to build it then I closed VS.

I reopened VS, reopened the SLN , I then got messages about a different version of VS needed.

I figured I might try to see if I get the same error when running it from VS, then I could set a breakpoint and try to see what it is failing on.

I click Play and lots of errors it won't even build.

then if I click "errors" then "warnings" then it shows me the warnings

Maybe it would have been easier to build, and OS portable, as a Java Maven project, without compulsory and brittle crypto-signing nonsense.
