Adding a load balancer in front of the single EC2 instance would allow us to use the SSL cert from AWS, like the other approaches.
It would be nice to be able to have multiple instances behind that load balancer, but deployment coordination would need to be figured out.
Note: Consider this a 'maybe' ticket. Things work well currently with the single EC2 using LetsEncrypt, and that is simpler and cheaper.
