Open Source release strategy

So this is what I've got so far. Please amend and add as needed---if there are any mistakes the fault is all mine :-)

Application services

• AI for Quality Inspection Systems Won't be released as open source, but a prototype with some image analysis capability will. R2M to clarify when and how.
• Vision for Quality Excellence Won't be released as open source as it stands now. Rovimatica to clarify if dashboards will be based on the demo released as open source at  https://github.com/c0c0n3/kitt4sme.dazzler under the MIT license.
• Shop Floor Anomaly Detection System The initial prototype has been released as open source at https://github.com/c0c0n3/kitt4sme.flaw-sleuth under the MIT license. Ginkgo to clarify if they'd like to release the final software as open source too.
• Milling Quality Control Part of it will be based on the demo released as open source at https://github.com/c0c0n3/kitt4sme.roughnator (AI) and https://github.com/c0c0n3/kitt4sme.dazzler (dashboard), currently MIT license. CSIC to clarify if they'd like to release the rest as open source too.
• Insight Generator. CSIC to evaluate if anything can be released as open source. Insight Generator is not currently in the ER list but it probably should?
• Manufacturing Process Management System CSIC, ED to clarify strategy
• Production System Profiler Possibility of an open source release currently being evaluated, but most likely it will be proprietary software. So we'll assume proprietary for now. Holonix to give us an update if they decide to go the open source route.
• Worker Profiler Ditto.
• Catalogue of Qualified Training Experiences. Tied to worker profiler and prod profiler. So we should probably assume this too is proprietary software. Gate to comment on this.
• Competence Matchmaking Tool Ditto. SUPSI to comment on this.
• Fatigue Monitoring System SUPSI to evaluate if anything can be released as open source.
• Intervention Manager Ditto.

Marketplace

• RAMP customisation Parts of RAMP are open source and this customisation for the Kitt4sme platform builds on that. VTT & ED to decide if their work on customisation should be open sourced.
• Digital datasheets. Released as open source at https://github.com/karikolehmainen/kitt4sme-digitaldatasheets. VTT to decide on a licence scheme.
• Adaptive Questionnaire SUPSI to evaluate if anything can be released as open source.

Infrastructure

• Sensing Layer Proprietary.
• FIWARE middleware Released as open source at https://github.com/c0c0n3/kitt4sme.live under the MIT licence.
• QuantumLeap This is pre-existing open source software the Kitt4sme project has contributed some enhancements to.
• Kitt4sme Cloud infrastructure. Released as open source at https://github.com/c0c0n3/kitt4sme.live under the MIT licence.
• FiPy. Library not originally planned but developed out of necessity by the Kitt4sme project. Released as open source at https://github.com/c0c0n3/kitt4sme.fipy under the MIT licence. Not listed in the ERs, not sure it should since we can think of this as being part of the platform infra.
• Dazzler. Visualisation service not originally planned but developed out of necessity by the Kitt4sme project. Released as open source at https://github.com/c0c0n3/kitt4sme.dazzler under the MIT licence. Not listed in the ERs, not sure it should since we can think of this as being part of the platform infra.
• OPA. This is pre-existing open source software the Kitt4sme project is planning to contribute some enhancements to. Not listed in the ERs, not sure it should since we can think of this as being part of the platform infra.
