I'm aware that Noise used to have more options and now has less due to a change in add-on permissions etc.
Will the old features be re-added soon? Or is that a case of hoping Mozilla update their add-on permissions?

Hi, I think it's more on Mozilla's side.
WebExtensions API doesn't provide many ways to watch event like the old days,
and this is not likely to be changed recently.
