Older scripts cannot compile

I was running a flag shader script from ronyx69 (https://gist.github.com/ronyx69/529244047b2a28f29b5aebe89184cfb0) which was uploaded a year ago and the script editor told me that it failed to compile. I am sure I haven't edited any line so I think there might be some bug within the script editor.
