v11 compatibility, future of the extension

We are using this extension on an instance that should be upgraded to TYPO3 11. I see that there is a fork with v10 support (https://github.com/mhirdes/powermail_fastexport), but none with v11.

Are you continuing maintaining this extension?

Depending on this, we could discuss several options:

• Providing PRs for you to merge (v10 support from the fork mentioned, then v11 support)
• Sponsoring v11 support
• Probably taking over maintenance of the EXT

Hi Lorenz,

Good to hear from you! There is even a pull request for v10 support (#7), however it lacks support for date fields, that is why I have not merged it yet.

We are no longer actively maintaining this extension as non of our customers is using it, we are however happy to accept pull requests and create new releases. If you are willing to take over maintenance, we could easily add you as a collaborator.
The Packagist releases are automated already, if we added automation for TER releases as well, you could completely manage the extension as a GitHub collaborator. We would also be open to move the extension to your organisation if you preferred that approach.

Nice to hear from you ;-). Thanks for all the information. We will start with upgrading the installation using your extension in Q1 2022. We will consider all options and I will get back to you. We also have a patch we would like to contribute (using title of form as export file name). Can we leave this ticket open until we're one step further?
