My experience as a support agent is that several, if not many, users think that Bisq2 is a drop-in replacement for Bisq1.
While this will be pretty much true, to some extent, one day, as of now people are looking to "import wallet", "copy over data", "trade larger amounts", and other such requests that show how they expect Bisq2 to be just a "newer version of Bisq" with the same features.
I believe introducing notes in the Downloads page will clear the doubts and help users know which does what, maybe prompting further documentation on their part.
