[GAT-BEA002-98] When all side dish are sold out, the App does not do anything when the user tapped the "Yes" button on prompt "You didn't finish your Bento. Should we finish it for you". #373

Bug Description

ACTUAL RESULTS:-
Upon tapping the "Yes" button when prompted with "You didn't finish your Bento. Should we finish it for you", the App does not do anything.

EXPECTED RESULTS:-
When all side dish are Sold Out and user selected "Yes" on prompt "You didn't finish your Bento. Should we finish it for you", the App should inform the user that there is no available Side Dish or if necessary give the user other options to do with the App.

OTHER NOTES / ERROR MESSAGES:-
User ID and password is not used on this bug.

Reproduction Steps

  • Open the App while the Location/GPS is off.
  • Select a valid delivery address on the Delivery Location module then press Continue button
  • On the Date & Time of delivery, select "As soon as possible" then press Accept button.
  • To reproduce, please buy first all side dish until all are sold out.
  • Once all side dish are sold out, tap the top-right button and tap the "Yes" button on prompt "Should we finish it for you".
  • Notice that no message prompt appear or nothing happens.

@vcardillo cannot verify the issue, selecting the QTY of the side's as 0 will still allow the user to add the side to the bento, even after 30 minutes( http://bugs8.gatserver.com/uploads/457ee4f60b5f09915294270ef887f2df.jpg ), tapping the We're sold out button from the backend side and selecting the ASAP option will redirect the user to the Preview menu, selecting the schedule a delivery option and tapping the Accept button will crash the app - #412

@gatgithub: That's for Order Ahead quantities. You need to go to the OD Dashboard, and mark items as sold out there. Add a driver, add quantity to a driver, and then set one of the item columns to all zero. Or scroll down and mark it as sold out.

@vcardillo The issue is still present - no alert/error message is being displayed if all the side dishes are sold out

I talked with Jose, and it's an edge case that all sides would be sold out like this. I'm going to close and mark this as wontfix. There's nothing that the app can reasonably do here.
