Delay when using MIDI to keyboard #256

Environment

OS: Windows 10
Version 1.9.24

Describe the bug
When using a mapping to from MIDI to keyboard key a significant delay is present

To Reproduce
use minimal example attached (remove the json extension)
mapping delay.noisette.json

Expected behavior
No delay

Additional context
From testing:

Keyboard module does not seem to be responsible (it works perfectly well with an other input, e.g. mouse)
