I was going to merge this in, cut a release, and archive the project. However, the other PR I just merged caused conflicts and I don't think I'm up for debugging it. I suggest using a fork of this repo as it's not maintained anymore. |

This behaviour is equivalent to stdlib timer.
I'm also ensuring that time doesn't move backwards on creating and resetting negative timers.
