After installing CSharpier on the latest version, 17.9.0 Preview 1.0, Visual Studio freezes. Opening any project that contains code results in a freeze, and I am unable to perform any operations.

It happens to me as well, on Visual Studio 17.8.0 on a fresh install of Windows 11 build 22621.2715.

Assuming you are running a 0.26.x version of csharpier, then I believe I have a resolution to the problem. See #926 (comment) for more details.
