An unexpected public holiday in NZ today, so I added a new feature to makeBook: kramdown-like citations:
Such references will be fixed up by the next run of makeBook, since they are unknown to GitHub's built-in markdown. |

A few enhancements to makeBook today:
By the way, makeBook checks nothing when expending references. If you get the RFC number or the draft name wrong, the result will be wrong. |

I've just done a refresh of pretty much every file in the book6 repo, after a succesful run of my new toy makeBook.py.
If you head to https://github.com/becarpenter/book6/blob/main/Contents.md and follow the links, you should find the whole book.
I added a directory utilities where I put the Python script and we can put any other utility bits and pieces.
I decide to promote the chapter template to be Chapter 99 of the book itself. All contributors, please re-read CONTRIBUTING and Chapter 99 and follow the recommendations. (Which are very lightweight, compared say to Wikipedia.)
Now what we need is for everybody to get writing...
Any problems, let me know. I don't recommend running makeBook frequently, but I can run it once a week or so to insert any missing links. It has to be run with a little care until we are sure that the code is robust enough.
(Feature requests for makeBook will be most welcome, especially in the form of Python code...)
