Describe the bug

Sometimes the node dies due to holes in the pointcloud data. A possible cause could be a light reflection.

Workaround:

  1. [option 1] Handle holes in code so that the node doesn't die
  2. [option 2] Implement some hole-filling algorithm

Steps to Reproduce

(Not observed that often)

  1. Turn on the room lights and put a shiny surface

Expected Behavior

Environment

  • Version used (branch/commit): noetic

  • PC:

    • on the robot (if applicable, specify which one)
      • yb2 with tower camera
  • build command:

    • catkin build

I can't seem to reproduce it
