Question

When I log into amplify studio, I seem to get different behavior if I log in with AWS or amplify studio accounts. They use the same email so when I attempt to view function details in lambda my AWS details kick in and I cannot see anything. It seems I have separate logins for amplify and AWS using the same Email.

Hey @Lee-gaiaxus, thank you for reaching out. To clarify, your AWS user account is managed by IAM and the user created for Amplify Studio is managed using AWS Cognito. Please refer to the documentation providing information on how studio manages user access.
Currently, Amplify studio does not support creating or building Lambda functions. But from the information provided i understand you are unable to view the functions, it appears the Studio user was created with a manage only permissions which limits the access to resources the user can view. By default if we launch studio using the AWS console, the user has admin permissions.
To provide admin permissions to the user we can edit the Access control settings under App setting in the AWS Amplify console and select Full Access.
