I'm quite confused about #699. This PR has closed several other PRs from different contributors and then merged their contributions into #699. The original contributors' history is not preserved in #699. This is the first time I've seen something like this and I find it hard to understand.

Could you please explain the rationale behind this? Is Avail not welcoming contributions from community developers?
