Can't finish authorizing when using ezsheets

Essentially, I just have

import ezsheets import os

as my code and yet I'm having trouble.

Summary:
Browser error is "can't connect to localhost:8080"
OAuth is type Desktop
User type is Internal
I am part of a G Suite
The ID has been added to the G Suite approved list and I approved the API calls
I can connect with pygsheets

I'm really at a loss at what to do. Can you see anything I need to fix?
