Alignment with LA County Strategic Plan

A colleague mentioned today that the LA County Strategic Plan articulates many goals aligned with this Open California effort. These principles and implementation strategies are aimed to help California governments like LA County achieve their goals. In particular, the third foundational goal of the plan states:

Realize Tomorrow’s Government Today

Our increasingly dynamic, and complex environment, challenges our collective
abilities to respond to public needs and expectations. We want to be an
innovative, flexible, effective, and transparent partner focused on advancing the
common good. We will accomplish this by:

• Pursuing development of our workforce;
• Embracing digital government for the benefit of our customers and
• communities;
• Pursuing operational effectiveness, fiscal responsibility and accountability; and
• Engaging our customers, communities, and partners.
