The goal of this thread is build towards International Open Data Day by tracking example CA DMV user stories and user research initiatives. The hope is that the DMV call to action can serve as a unifying thread for California-wide activities for International Open Data Day 3/2 and help kickstart a California-wide Civic User Testing initiative in the Chicago model.

CA Brigade Leaders and other interested civic techies: Please share your activities and ideas to help improve the DMV user experience in this thread.

Context

California has embarked on an ambitious initiative to improve the user experience of the CA DMV. This initiative could learn from and build on the Chicago Civic User Testing (CUT) model.

Example User Stories

Note this builds towards the Public Tech Implementation Strategy on a CA Civic Tech Corps #2
