@ianmilligan1 or @greebie, you want this?

If you haven't worked with Docker before, this is very helpful.

This is to update this old lesson, correct?

I think it'll be much more straightforward. We can use most of the existing installation instructions, and then update it.

@greebie can I add this to your to-do list. No rush, this can wait for weeks as I know you've got a few other things on your plate.

Yeah. We could move that to the old directory, and create a new generic one if that helps.

...this could be super useful for datathons depending on where we're at in the project. Or, just another pedagogical tool that is good for the project.

Yeah let's move this existing one to old when @greebie begins working on this. I think this will be both useful for datathons/as a pedagogical tool and also for folks to try out the AUT themselves.

Do y'all think we should just remove this part from this repo, and move it over to aut-docs? Might be a better place, and formatting for it. Consolidate things a bit more.

Yes that makes sense, so this can just be a docker repo and docs are centralized. Let’s do that!

Do we want this on the website? Might be useful for the April event depending on where we're at.

Yes that’s a great idea. We can chat, but maybe we can hopefully have some PySpark stuff to at least demo by then too.

I can take this on.

As part of the workshop at SFU in ~ 3 weeks, I'll be using docker-aut – it'll be a good way to test it all in the wild and then make a formal part of the documentation.

@ianmilligan1 awesome! I barely started something a month or so ago. If you want to take it and run, go for it!

@SamFritz you game for being our Alpha tester?

Closing this in-favour of https://github.com/ianmilligan1/webarchive-workshop/blob/master/workshop/workshop.md

Eventually we should get that on the website, or somewhere in the archivesunleashed github org.
