Broken page: https://apache.org/foundation/press/central-services-request #365
Comments
If it is needed, there is no particular need to hide the URL in an IFRAME - it could be linked directly from the page. |
@loganloganlogan @Paul-TT Is this page linked from/to anything? We no longer have a Central Services operation at the ASF, so I am inclined to just kill the page. |
The page is linked from:
If the page is to be dropped, it might make sense to drop the Google doc as well. Does the page at https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1jNmJJ0UzOaEvs8Vcc17oMiaoNVd-Dsn8j0NtP8ywqBE/viewform?edit_requested=true relate to this? |
There are many orphan pages that are no longer linked in the main navigation both pages mentioned here. I would recommend adding a redirect to this parent page: https://apache.org/press/ which explains where to request M&P services. It's a best practice to link to a more top-level page to avoid this type of issue in the future. @bproffitt If that works for you, then Paul can implement. |
@loganloganlogan Yes, let's do that, thanks. |
The page https://apache.org/foundation/press/central-services-request shows an iframe but fails to display any useful content.
However, maybe it is not still needed - does it make sense to generate a request for Central Services?
