IndexDB Cloning Error

What I am trying to do
I am trying to save data in my indexDB store

boss_store = indexed_db.create_store('managers')
boss_store[_type] = data #_type is a string #data is a dictionary

Data

Error

ExternalError: DataCloneError: Failed to execute 'put' on 'IDBObjectStore': ()=>w could not be cloned.

Question
Do I need to convert my data to json first? The documentation states that datetime and date are acceptable data types and looking at the storage.py code, nothing stands out, to me, as an issue.

It seems like a bug to me. Should be fixed in #395.

Was it because I was sending a dictionary WITH a datetime, that caused the issue? It doesn't look like dictionary values are serialized themselves.
