Is it possible to shape the SpeedView as a linear gauge horizontally or vertically?

All speedometers are circular, you can change start and end degree.
What do you mean by orientation for SpeedView?

I mean, speedometer as a linear scale, but with a pointer showing the speed. Something that looks like the one in below picture,
