A customer selects customisations from a more compact list of options

Currently the custom attributes of a product are presented as a list of buttons. This works ok when the number of customisations is small. But for a staff the sheer number of customisations (6+) mean the options take up a lot of space and scroll off the screen.

As a customer I want to make selections from a more compact set of options such that I can see my options rendered without scrolling.
