Describe your issue

In some situations, problem's cause/effect nodes are more than one layer from their parents, which can be annoying to read. Ideally, they would have some preference in the layout calculation for being closer to their parent. Example:

Note: this also sometimes happens in reverse, for solutions - example:

Solution you'd like

Would have to play with ELK config - it seems like a change could make more sense on the library's end. See kieler/elkjs#303
